From a very young age, 

I was always interested in making things. I loved playing in the dirt, making mud pies, searching for seashells at the shore to decorate my lopsided sandcastles, cutting construction paper into shapes and pasting them onto paper, making little creatures out of playdough and giving them to my parents 'cause I was so proud, the smells, the messes, the experiences. Pure joy. Creating made me so happy as a child and it still does. 

At the time, I didn't realize I was building such important lifelong skills.    As I searched and discovered natural and store bought materials to use in my projects, I was learning to be resourceful. I learned patience and perseverence while learning to build sandcastles at the beach with my friends. We'd spend countless hours creating just the right wet sand mixture to form our castles, only to see them dry out in the hot sun or get washed away by the tide. That didn't stop us, we would just rebuild. For us, it wasn't work, it was fun! We learned to work and play together. We learned the pure joy of getting lost in creativity.

So, in 2020 after a fulfilling career in packaging design, I started Galleri Girl with my beautiful daughter, Lily. Together, we've been busy developing and curating art kits with care for anyone looking to; try something new, develop their skills or just have fun with a friend or loved one. 

Galleri Girl is a special place 

to find fun projects, quality materials and inspiration to make your own art and build lifelong skills along the way.

Playing and trying new things at an early age helps us develop;  self confidence,

problem solving skills, resourcefulness, patience, perseverence, curiosity, creative thinking and so much more!
